okay, for all you smart-aleks out there-i have an airbrush and compressor and have a pretty good idea of what i’m doing.

what i need to know is should i use a special paint? is there a special sealer i should use? is acrylic okay or will it eventually wear off?

Smooth Skin Tutorial 1/ FIRST OPEN YOUR PHOTO/IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP THEN PRESS ……COMMAND+J TO DUPLICATE YOUR LAYER OR CTRL+J ON WINDOWS 2/ THEN GO TO FILTER AND THEN BLUR AND CHOOSE SURFACE BLUR. 3/ USE A RADIUS OF 15 + THRESHOLD OF 15 SURFACE BLUR – YOU SHOULD SEE A BIG CHANGE IN YOUR IMAGE IT SHOULD BE NICE ……AND SMOOTH. 4/ THEN I WOULD JUST PLAY AROUND WITH THE OPACITY ON MY TOP LAYER UNTIL I FIND A LOOK I FEEL IS REALISTIC FOR MY IMAGE USUALLY ….AROUND 60 % OPACITY 5/ CLICK ADD VECTOR MASK AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR LAYERS PALETTE 6/ CLICK ON YOUR IMAGE PHOTO ON THE TOP LAYER NEXT TO YOUR MASK AND THEN CLICK ON THE HISTORY BRUSH. – SHORTCUT IS Y 7/ WITH YOUR TOP LAYER AND IMAGE/PHOTO SELECTED USE THE HISTORY BRUSH PAINTING WITH BLACK COLOR AND PAINT AROUND THE HAIR AND MAYBE EYES TO REMOVE SMOOTH LOOK ON HAIR LOOKS MORE REALISTIC. THIS IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT A TUTORIAL SO ALL COMMENTS ARE WELCOME.

I am using createx paint and want to know what is the best way to reduce the paint. Is water a good option? Does createx make a specific reducer? Is there a good homemade reducer I can make? Also, what does the Createx retarder do? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is there a special kind of paint or is it watered down acrylics? And if it is watered down acrylics, then wouldnt it loose its true color? I just got an airbrush set and I dont know what kind of paint to use. =p
