I really need your help to which kind of paint to use. The automotive solvent paint or a waterbase paint. Coz i started airbrushing for the last 8months, and i usually do graphics effect, cartoon and i use dupont automotive paints. But i,m looking forward in trying out something realistic like portrait . So if anybody out there could give some tips, that would be great. Thanks.

I wish someone had helped me with this when I was starting out. Here’s the basics of airbrush paint.

what i mean by that is if like i want a color to outline the frame of the painting but i want it to be dark and defined with out very many blemishes
almost like you cut construction paper out and pasted it on …would air brushing be smoother for this reason or could i do this with a paint brush and the right paint
im obvious just a beginner could someone help guide me ?…please help me out thank you!
