Going as a Goblin for Halloween this year. This is my first attempt at making anything out of latex and also my first attempt at using an airbrush. I just bought a new Iwata airbrush and it’s kinda fun. Latex is freakin awesome. 1. painted my hand with latex 2. sculpted bones and finger tips from lightweight modeling clay. 3. painted arm and connected latex hand. 4. molded more bones in the arm. 5. covered everything with a few layers of latex again. 6. mixed colors and painted the whole thing. 7. covered the painted surface with another two coats of latex. -since i’m using acrylic paint, the paint tears with the stretching of the latex. I really don’t want to make the other hand now.. this took about a week to make. mostly drying time. I might punch hair into it, i’m not sure yet.

Like how much the set up cost, a good way to practice, some techniques that are beneficial. Almost any advice can help at the moment.

Which one would you recommend?

Can you dilute acrylic paint with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, or does it have to be denatured? I know the difference between the two, but would rubbing alcohol do the same thing as the denatured alcohol?

Thanks! :)

Psycho Paint is a platinum silicone rubber that is used to paint platinum rubbers. It can be pigmented and diluted with solvents to be brushed or airbrushed onto platinum silicone rubber castings.

A new Compressor and airbrush!! WOOHOO!!! Also, the introduction to my contest entry for the 2old4toys contest.

Where can i buy one and how much will it cost? I guess i need a compressor, how much will one of those cost? and what types should i get? Let me know everything possible about airbrushing

I am about to start air bushing my own nails. You are susposed to buy the very expensive "nail flair" airbrush paint to do this. I am suspecting there is not much difference between that and createx. Am I right?
