Oh and also the paints? I want to see if I would like using an airbrush for painting figurines. (Games Workshop, if that matters) If, I like it or if anybody reccommends it, I will buy an expensive, fine detail airbrush. But for now, I just want a cheap kit and paint until I learn how it works and if it’s for me. I think I have a compressor somewhere in my garage. It’s one of those big ones my dad uses. Will that work. I can deal with the noise.

This video shows you how to paint latex items using non-toxic paints, such as tinted latex and Stretchi paints, which can be thinned with water and airbrushed. You can join my page on facebook here: www.facebook.com

I am planning on using a 20lb co2 tank inside my dorm room to power my airbrush. Compressors are simply too loud and I don’t fee like spending 0 dollars on a "silent" one. My only concern is the Health risk involved.

I won’t be airbrushing for more than an hour at one time. As a matter of fact, I have to let my paints dry on the model for a good 30 minutes in between coats so it is not like I would be there all day letting Co2 come out. So I would have plenty of time to open the door and let my room ventilate.

Everywhere I read it says that it is completely fine and safe. Just wanted to make sure I was right and there were no real health risks involved.

Note: This is Co2 we are talking about and not CO, carbon monoxide (silent killer, etc)

Hi there everyone!

I have been working on my airbrushing skills and I was wondering if anyone knew what brand or where to order some paints specificly for temperary tattoos that can be used in an airbrush.

I use an Iwata HP-CR and I have been loving airbrushing ever since I got it.

i need the paints, stencil paper, the gun, the air compressor, the air hose and anything else that im not mentioning, online would be great but if i can get it a some store for under 0 that would be good too

I am making a couple fursuits and need to airbrush details and patterns onto the fur, I dont have the fur yet but it will be at least an inch thick hopefully.
One suit will need to be entirely airbrushed, as in the base colouring over some white fur, PLUS pattern/stripes.

I cant find any paints in my local craft store that would be good for what I want, do you have any recommendations? It cant be too expensive as I have a limited budget.

I’m looking to start airbrushing miniatures, Warhammer, Hordes, things like that. I was wondering what kind of paints I could use, what kind of brush and air supplies I would need. Any other tips and hints would be great. Thanks :D

Is this a good starter airbrush set? I have never airbrushed before and I want to do it for cosmetics and clothing

Also which compressor should I get?

And can anyone link to a site with paints or recommend some good brands??

thanks
